HAI DUONG VOLUNTEER WAREHOUSE 5 – EXPANDING PORT, WAREHOUSE, AND YARD CAPACITY IN QUANG NINH
Located in Dien Cong, Uong Bi Ward, Quang Ninh Province, Warehouse 5 of Hai Duong Coal is a new facility within the company’s network of ports, warehouses, yards, and plants, contributing to the expansion of the coal storage, production, and distribution network in the northern region.
The development of Warehouse 5 further enhances TNV Hai Duong’s infrastructure network in Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Phu Tho, creating an additional distribution hub and improving the company’s ability to serve factories, manufacturing businesses, and industrial customers.
Expanding the warehouse system in Quang Ninh
Quang Ninh is a region closely associated with coal mining, transportation, and trade, and it also has a well-developed system of seaports, waterways, and industrial infrastructure.
The integration of Warehouse 5 in Dien Cong, Uong Bi, into the system has enabled Hai Duong TNV to expand its operations into an area strategically located within the industrial fuel supply chain.
Warehouse 5 is positioned to become a key hub supporting the following activities:
- Receiving and consolidating coal supplies.
- Sorting and Storing Goods.
- Organize production based on demand.
- Loading, unloading, and transportation.
- Coordinate the distribution of inventory to factories and customers.
As a result, Hai Duong Volunteers have gradually increased their autonomy in allocating inventory among facilities throughout the system.
A new development in the 5-port warehouse system
Warehouse 5 is the next piece of the puzzle in TNV Hai Duong’s development strategy for its system of 5 ports, warehouses, yards, and factories.
While the existing warehouses serve as the foundation for storage and production operations in Hai Phong and Phu Tho, Warehouse 5 helps the company strengthen its presence in Quang Ninh and expand its ability to source goods in the Northeast region.
The connection between warehouse locations has enabled Hai Duong Volunteers to gradually establish a supply chain:
Supply Source → Port → Warehouse → Manufacturing → Inventory → Shipping → Customer.
This is a crucial foundation for businesses to be more proactive in responding to fluctuating demand for production volume and delivery schedules.
Moving toward ever-greater storage and supply capacity
In the industrial coal supply sector, the ability to maintain inventory reserves plays a particularly important role.
Cement plants, thermal power plants, boiler facilities, and manufacturing companies require a stable fuel supply to minimize the risk of operational disruptions.
The addition of Warehouse 5 to the system provides Hai Duong Volunteers with more opportunities to:

Equipment and personnel required for operations
In addition to developing warehouse facilities, TNV Hai Duong has organized a team of personnel and machinery to support production operations at Warehouse 5.
Operational positions such as warehouse/port workers, machine operators, mechanics, and mechanical engineers play a direct role in the processes of receiving, loading, unloading, consolidating, and transporting goods.
The system of excavators, transportation vehicles, and production equipment is organized in accordance with actual needs, with the goal of developing Warehouse 5 into a stable operational facility within the entire Hai Duong TNV system.
Expanding our ability to serve customers in the northern region
The expansion of its facility in Quang Ninh not only increases warehouse and yard space but also helps TNV Hai Duong improve its ability to coordinate inventory by region.
From Warehouse 5, coal can be consolidated, prepared, and shipped according to each customer’s needs, helping to reduce transit steps and improve responsiveness to changes in production plans.
This is also part of the strategy to build a stable and flexible coal supply system capable of serving customers across a wider area.

As the newest facility in the system, Warehouse 5 is currently being further developed by TNV Hai Duong in terms of organizational operations, inventory, machinery, and conditions necessary for production.
In the coming period, TNV Hai Duong will continue to provide updates on the facility’s floor space, storage capacity, equipment, and actual production operations at Warehouse 5.
