Three consecutive imported coal ships have docked at the port and begun unloading their cargo

In July 2026, Hai Duong Volunteer received three large-capacity imported coal carriers in succession in the Quang Ninh area, including the MV FUXING, the MV XIN HAI HU, and the MV KMAX EMPEROR.

The continuous arrival of ships at the port and their deployment to unload cargo help supplement the supply of imported coal, meeting domestic production, energy, and industrial needs.

Information on three imported coal ships

The MV FUXING, carrying 88,000 metric tons of imported coal, arrived in the Hòn Miều area to begin unloading and transshipment operations.

The MV XIN HAI HU transported 77,000 metric tons of imported coal, arrived in the Hòn Nét area, and began unloading the cargo as scheduled.

Following the two vessels mentioned above, the MV KMAX EMPEROR, carrying 92,000 metric tons of imported coal, is scheduled to arrive in the Hòn Gai area on the afternoon of July 21, 2026.

According to the schedule, the MV KMAX EMPEROR will wait for the tide, proceed to the unloading location, and drop anchor on July 22, 2026. Cargo handling operations are expected to begin at 6:00 p.m. on the same day.

Simultaneous Implementation of Extraction and Transmission Operations

Currently, operations to unload, transship, and transport coal from the three ships are being carried out urgently, in a coordinated manner, and with a focus on safety by TNV Hai Duong in collaboration with relevant units.

After transshipment, the coal will be transported to TNV Hai Duong’s network of ports, warehouses, yards, and plants to directly serve:
