On August 31, 2026, the MV CHAO TIAN MEN, flying the Bahamian flag and carrying 77,600 metric tons of imported coal, arrived in the Hòn Gai area of Quảng Ninh, ready to begin operations, unloading, and transshipment according to schedule.
During the September 2 National Day holiday, TNV Hai Duong continued its coal mining, transportation, and supply operations without interruption to ensure a steady supply of raw materials for thermal power plants, cement plants, and industrial customers nationwide.
The MV CHAO TIAN MEN arrived at Hòn Gai with 77,600 metric tons of imported coal

The arrival of the MV CHAO TIAN MEN at the Hòn Gai area on August 31, 2026, is part of TNV Hải Dương’s plan to import and supply coal to the domestic market.
With a deadweight of 77,600 metric tons, the vessel will carry out cargo handling and transshipment operations as scheduled, ensuring compliance with safety, schedule, and quality requirements throughout the entire operation.
The ongoing reception of large-capacity coal ships has enabled Hai Duong TNV to be more proactive in securing its supply of coal, while also meeting the increasingly stable fuel needs of power plants and industrial customers.
The MV XIN TAI YUAN is heading to Hon La with 72,650 metric tons of coal

Alongside the MV CHAO TIAN MEN’s operations in the northern region, the MV XIN TAI YUAN is also en route to Hòn La, with an expected arrival date of September 3, 2026.
The ship is carrying approximately 72,650 metric tons of imported coal, which is scheduled to be unloaded at Quang Trach Port to meet the fuel needs of the thermal power sector in the Central region.
The simultaneous operation of train services in multiple regions demonstrates TNV Hai Duong’s nationwide capabilities in organizing cargo, managing logistics, and coordinating supply chains.
Volunteers in Hai Duong Continue Their Activities Throughout the September 2 National Day Holiday
Throughout the September 2 National Day holiday, TNV Hai Duong’s operations, warehousing, production, and supply systems continued to operate without interruption.
The operational departments are organized to ensure three key requirements:
- Safety in Mining and Operations
- Smooth Logistics and Transshipment Operations
- On-time delivery to customers
As a result, Hai Duong Coal continues to ensure a steady supply of coal for thermal power plants, cement plants, and industrial enterprises, minimizing disruptions to the raw material supply during the holiday period.
Updates on port calls, unloading, transshipment, and production activities at the Hai Duong TNV system will continue to be provided in the coming period.
