TWO COAL SHIPS CONSECUTIVELY DOCK AT QUANG TRACH PORT – TO SUPPLY THE QUANG TRACH 1 THERMAL POWER PLANT
On October 21–22, 2026, the MV YUE PING and the MV SPIRIT OF SEATREK docked at Quang Trach Port, respectively, to carry out a coal supply operation for the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant.
The fact that coal shipments are being received on a regular basis indicates that fuel supply operations are proceeding as planned, helping to ensure that deliveries stay on schedule and meet the plant’s operational needs.
MV YUE PING – approximately 73,600 metric tons of bulk coal
The MV YUE PING is scheduled to arrive in the Hòn La area at approximately 6:00 a.m. on October 21, 2026, carrying approximately 73,600 metric tons of bulk coal.
After arriving at the receiving area, the vessel carried out loading and unloading operations at Pier No. 1 of the Quang Trach Power Center’s dedicated port, as scheduled.
Actual photos taken during the unloading process show that the coal shipment is being received directly at the pier to support the fuel supply plan for the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant.

MV SPIRIT OF SEATREK – approximately 60,700 metric tons of bulk coal
As part of the supply plan, the MV SPIRIT OF SEATREK is scheduled to arrive in the Hòn La area at approximately 10:00 a.m. on October 22, 2026.
The ship, carrying approximately 60,700 metric tons of bulk coal, continues to be unloaded at the dedicated port of the Quang Trach Power Center.
The arrival of two coal ships in quick succession in the Quang Trach area has helped ensure a steady supply of coal to support the thermal power plant’s operational plan.
