On September 3, 2026, the MV XIN TAI YUAN, carrying 72,700 metric tons of imported coal, arrived at Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Port and began unloading operations to meet the fuel needs of the thermal power plant in the Central region.
This event further underscores TNV Hai Duong’s ability to organize coal supplies, coordinate logistics, and ensure large-scale coal delivery, given that fuel demand from thermal power plants and industrial facilities consistently requires stability, continuity, and on-time delivery.
The MV XIN TAI YUAN arrived in Quang Trach with 72,700 metric tons of imported coal
Following its voyage, on September 3, 2026, the MV XIN TAI YUAN arrived at the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant Port to begin unloading operations.
Carrying a cargo of 72,700 metric tons of imported coal, the ship helps replenish fuel supplies for electricity generation in the Central region.
Ship reception, unloading, and coordination operations were carried out according to plan to ensure safety, smooth operations, and on-schedule progress throughout the entire operational process.
From Hòn Gai to Quảng Trạch—a continuously maintained supply chain
Earlier, in the northern region, the MV CHAO TIAN MEN, flying the Bahamian flag and carrying 77,600 metric tons of imported coal, docked in the Hòn Gai and Hòn Miều area to begin unloading and transshipping the cargo.
The fact that the MV CHAO TIAN MEN is operating in the northern region, while the MV XIN TAI YUAN has arrived in Quang Trach in the central region, demonstrates that Hai Duong TNV’s coal reception and supply operations are being carried out across multiple regions.
From Hòn Gai in Quảng Ninh to Quảng Trạch in Central Vietnam, the chain of operations—including ship reception, unloading, transshipment, and supply—has been maintained continuously, helping to ensure a steady fuel supply for production facilities.
Ensuring a steady supply of coal for thermal power plants and industrial customers
Given the unique characteristics of the thermal power, cement, and heavy industries, maintaining a stable fuel supply is critical to the continuous production operations of these plants.

After the MV XIN TAI YUAN arrives at Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Port, unloading operations will continue as scheduled.
