TNV Hai Duong is currently unloading the MV KMAX EMPEROR, which is carrying 92,000 metric tons of imported coal, in the Hon Gai area of Quang Ninh.
After the ship arrived at the mining area and completed the necessary procedures, the unloading and transshipment of coal were carried out promptly and in a coordinated manner, ensuring safety and adherence to the schedule.
92,000 metric tons of imported coal unloaded at Hòn Gai
The MV KMAX EMPEROR is one of the large-capacity coal carriers that TNV Hai Duong took delivery of in July 2026.
After unloading, the coal will be transshipped and transported to TNV Hai Duong’s network of ports, warehouses, and yards to meet the fuel needs of:
- Thermal power plants;
- Cement plant;
- Industrial manufacturing companies;
- Coal customers nationwide.
Throughout the mining process, TNV Hai Duong works closely with relevant units to monitor progress, ensure workplace safety, and maintain the quality of the goods.
Consecutive Receipt and Handling of Large-Capacity Coal Ships
Prior to the MV KMAX EMPEROR, Hai Duong Volunteers had received and begun handling several large-capacity imported coal carriers in the Quang Ninh area, including:
MV FUXING: 88,000 metric tons of imported coal at Hòn Miều.
MV XIN HAI HU: 77,000 metric tons of imported coal at Hòn Nét.
MV KMAX EMPEROR: 92,000 metric tons of imported coal currently being unloaded at Hòn Gai.
The fact that large vessels have been arriving in the Quang Ninh area one after another and have been deployed for operations demonstrates TNV Hai Duong’s ability to proactively manage its coal supply, organize transshipment, and ensure a stable coal supply.
